Iron Paws Dog Ball-Shockingly Tough
I'll start with this: I didn't plan on reviewing this dog toy at all.
I didn't take packaging photos. I didn't research the brand ahead of time. I didn't get a picture of the ball until a month after I bought it, and the dog had been playing with it.
I ordered it on a whim—and now I feel like everyone with an aggressive chewer needs to hear about it.
Iron Paws dog balls are sold on Amazon for around $9.99, and interestingly, I couldn't find an official website for them outside of Amazon listings.
Now let's talk about the important part.
I have a pittie who destroys everything. I mean everything. Even Kong toys don't stand a chance in this house.
This ball?
He's had it for over a month, chews on it like crazy, and hasn't put a dent in it.
Here's the wild part: when it arrived, I thought I'd made a mistake. The ball looked almost styrofoam-like and felt incredibly lightweight.
I expected something heavy and rubbery. Instead, it looked… fragile.
It is not.
Despite how it looks and feels, this ball has held up better than any “indestructible" toy we've tried.
No cracks. No chunks missing. No shredded remains under the couch.
I'm honestly way more impressed than I expected to be.
The rest of their toys range from about $10–$17, and IMBHO?
If you have a dog who chews like it's their full-time job, this is absolutely worth buying.
Now, if Iron Paws ever decides to make a stuffed toy with this same durability, my dog would lose his mind. Those are his favorites.
Until then, this ball stays in heavy rotation.
