Sweet, Crunchy, Worth It

Pip's Cinnamon Twists

I'll start with the part no one else will.

They honestly do not smell great to me.

The smell is primarily cinnamon, but there's also that distinct heirloom corn undertone.

If you've tried Pip's cheddar cheese balls before, you know the scent I'm talking about.

They taste amazing—but there's something slightly "off" about the smell. It's subtle, but noticeable.

Since I loved the Pip's Cheddar Cheese Balls (salty, crunchy, addictive), I wasn't sure how that heirloom corn flavor would translate into something sweet.

Corn + cinnamon?

It could go either way.

Also, each twist is way bigger than I expected.

About 3 inches long unless broken.

You definitely get that satisfying, oversized snack feel.

Now for the important part…

The taste? So good.

Perfectly sweet — not overly sugary — balanced with cinnamon and a very light popcorn-like undertone. It's airy, super crunchy, and honestly kind of addictive.

The sweetness feels intentional, not overwhelming.

IMBHO HELL YES

It's what I'd call a "slightly sweet" treat, not a dessert-level sugar bomb.

This might actually be my new favorite lightly sweet snack.

BUT.

The aftertaste isn't amazing.

It's not terrible — totally tolerable — but it lingers in a way that makes me feel like I need a sip of something afterward. I can't just eat these and move on with my day.

Overall though? Pretty amazing.

And I absolutely love that they're gluten-free. Most things that aren't gluten-free wreck my stomach, so finding something this good that doesn't leave me regretting my life choices is a win.
