If we’re being honest here...
Perhaps a bit too primal
I can honestly say I’ve never had a turkey stick like this…eating just shouldn’t be this difficult.
If it sounds too good to be true…
It comes in at 5 net carbs. If I were not left hungry, it might have been acceptable to me. I know. Keto has lowered my expectations a bit.
A case of mom knows best
It’s a great story of how a mom and son find the entrepreneurial spirit and turn their life story into a company and outstanding product. If you get nothing else from this blog, be sure to visit their site and applaud their efforts.
It's a miracle!
The fact that I have no control over my youngest’s head of hair, just adds to my morning stresses.
Murder your thirst
The website is crazy, to put it mildly, but the message is clear. Sell your soul and become part of the Liquid Death cult, which may sound ominous (as intended).
Samo Sukhi's samosas?
They are 4-inch triangles that could feed a hungry crowd. If you have guests with varied eating habits, these samosas will fill the need of everyone but the meat eaters, with a vegan claim on the front of the box.
Coconut jerky murky
I’m not a huge meat eater, so when I saw FoReal Foods Coconut Jerky on shelf I had to give it a try.
The why behind ShiKai
There are a lot of emerging CBD brands, but ShiKai is not a new company. It was founded in 1970 by an organic chemist who focused on natural, ayurvedic ingredients in his products. This intrigued me and is ultimately the why behind my ShiKai purchase.
Kettle & Fire incomplete
Recently, I saw an online ad for Kettle & Fire soup, and because the broccoli cheddar soup is Keto with only 6 grams of net carbs per 16.9 oz tetra pack, I knew I had to try it.
Cheese wrap food fun
Who doesn’t love a good Parmesan crisp? With these cheese wraps, you can easily make a gargantuan cheese crisp in minutes.
Micro-pancakery keto style
As soon as I added water to the mix, the chemical reaction started and the batter moved up the side of the mixing bowl. They continued to rise as they cooked, too, culminating with a pancake about ¼-inch thick.
Which came first?
Which came first – the chicken or the samosa? I would venture to say the chicken, but not necessarily in these samosas.
Alter Eco enlightened indulgence
Alter Eco’s burnt caramel organic chocolate promised a rich, buttery crunch from its deep, dark, salted chocolate bar, and that is exactly what I got when I took my first bite.
Pucker up, Buttercup!
It’s like eating a very sour sweet tart. It doesn’t have any vinegar overtones, just tart apple, like a Granny Smith.
What's so uncommon about August?
I closed my eyes and sipped. Mmmm… I caught the hint of peach and the citrus at the end. It was smooth and delicate in flavor, yet intensely satisfying.
