If we’re being honest here...
Oh, King Arthur, what crap you make…
Get your fresh cookie in 30 seconds, but there’s a glitch. Buyer beware…
Key lime pie blondies lose on texture
These blondies tasted like a sugar cookie with a hint of key lime, but the texture…
Where's the potato chip?
With a play on Lay’s “no one can eat just one” slogan, the Chuao bar says, “one is never enough”. I disagree. It should say, “one is too many”.
Sweet Street not so sweet
When I opened the package, I was drawn in by the smell of a really good sugar cookie with caramel overtones. When I pulled it from the package, the granulated sugar on top sparkled and made me want to take a bite.
Love good fats...or not...
I purchased two different flavor profiles for this review: coconut chocolate chip and peanut butter and jelly flavor. These bars are gluten free, non-GMO and plant-based. They offer up 5 grams of net carbs and 8 grams of protein.
Super Coffee super sweet
This product does boast no lactose, no gluten, no carrageenan and no sugar alcohol, and it is marked Keto and Non-GMO. More positive vibes there.
Dang...that's bad!
These are plant-based Keto bars; it’s always tough to find good snacking items that fit this eating lifestyle. Each bar has 5 grams of net carbs and 9 grams of protein, but that’s where the positives end.
Joyless flocking
Sadly, my hopes and dreams of something crunchy and satisfying didn’t just go down the drain, but down the toilet. All of a sudden, I was taken aback by what I was seeing. Is that feathers? No way! It couldn’t be! Argh! It was!!
Lenny & Larry strike out
I heard about Lenny and Larry’s Complete cookies and how they were so great with 16 grams of plant-based protein…
Perhaps a bit too primal
I can honestly say I’ve never had a turkey stick like this…eating just shouldn’t be this difficult.
Coconut jerky murky
I’m not a huge meat eater, so when I saw FoReal Foods Coconut Jerky on shelf I had to give it a try.
Which came first?
Which came first – the chicken or the samosa? I would venture to say the chicken, but not necessarily in these samosas.
Pitiful pot pie
Trader Joe’s Turkey Pot Pie packaging says, “Just heat and serve, get comfy and enjoy!” This is what I wanted to do; unfortunately, this pitiful pot pie took the comfort and joy right out of my day.
Bobo’s are a no go
Besides the price being ridiculous, one pastry is a whopping 47 grams of carbohydrates, fed by 22 grams of sugar.
C2O sweeter than expected
It’s a murky mixture with coffee granules floating around and boasts 199MG of caffeine per can.
Mango body butter blues
This body butter does smell like mango, but it’s more of an artificial mango smell.
